DGMR. More than just fire safety
There are few areas where an integrated, all-embracing approach is as important as in fire safety. Not only because multiple factors are in play here, but also and primarily because when it comes to an emergency, human lives are at stake. More so than in any other specialisation, no detail may thus be overlooked.
At home throughout the entire process
Certainty. For DGMR this is the uncompromising point of departure in achieving a fire-safe building or complex. Thus it is that we advise the client in each and every phase of the building process on all conceivable issues related to fire safety. In close consultation with the parties involved such as the client, fire department and insurer we strive towards optimal safety at an affordable price. To this end, we regard the relevant legal provisions merely as a start. We advise on loss prevention and life safety on the basis of fundamental knowledge of fire. Should the project not meet the provisions, we then, if possible, adapt advanced methods in order to achieve an equivalent level of safety.
From risk to safety
At DGMR we also proffer advice on the fire behaviour of materials and fire-resistantconstructions. To this end, a great deal of knowledge exchange takes place with other disciplines within our organisation, in particular when it comes to building physics and façade technology. In addition to this, we have developed special software for issues such as external fire spread. In this way we have even more solutions to go a step further. We want to offer safety to everyone in the building, exclude risks, and we will only be satisfied when we are certain.
