Fire-safety constructions
For a building of more than two storeys to collapse early in a fire is unacceptable. The Buildings’ structural frame must therefore be protected against fire. For a number of building materials, such as steel, concrete and wood, we can calculate the fire resistance. DGMR can carry out standard calculations, though we can also be of use in special situations. External constructions may, in some cases, be shown to be safe without having to be expensively fire-proofed.
